Hello Calm

Lets talk skin! Sooo lately I have been obsessed with this new HELLO, CALM Relaxing and Hydrating Face Mask with Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil from Origins.
I have been using it for about a month now whenever I do my at home facials, which usually consist of a double masking method where I use a clay mask to pull out and eliminate any toxins and dirt which can typically leave your skin feeling a bit dry. So after that I follow up with a face mask that is more soothing and relaxing, usually something oil based, and this is where my new baby comes in. Pun definitely intended because this mask makes your face feel like a babies fresh bottom as cliche as that sounds it is 1000% the truth.
So this mask ingredients are made up of a number of different agents and or properties that are amazing for the skin. Like lavender oil, safflower and bergamot just to name a few, all of which are amazing with nourishing and hydrating dry skin and can also help soothe redness or flaky skin.
For all that we still haven’t even got to the best part, the HIIC (Head Ingredient in Charge), the reason I am even writing this post which I am sure by now you all know what the secret not so secret key ingredient is and if for some reason you didn’t get the memo then please allow me to point out the OBVIOUS! Its Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil from Hemp. The gates of heaven just entered and there are angels singing… you may enter now.
Ok enough dramatics in all seriousness this mask is rich in omega-6 and omega-3 acids that are essential for the skin furthermore aiding the skin in combating dryness and redness. Accompanied by the fact that Hemp seed Oil adds a protective layer to the skin helping prevent rashes and relief for acne. Prior to discovering this mask I was actually using Hemp Seed Oil in my nighttime skincare regimen as an extra added layer of moisture kind of like a seal after all of my products and I really loved the results I received from it.
Speaking of which is how I knew this face mask would most likely be the real deal. As usual… I was right. It is good for all skin types making it the perfect staple to get our skin through these harsh winter months here in Maine. Quick disclaimer this product is non-intoxicating for those of you wondering. Upon using this product for the very first time I instantly noticed the texture of course. For me it has more of a creamy texture but there is definitely a slight oily feeling to it as well. It feels as if you could literally rub it into your hand all day long and it will never dry out or lose consistency. When you wake up the next morning it is obvious how amazing the formula is because you skin is glowing and extremely soft and supple. I am not sure how to describe the smell it just has a very fresh organic plant based scent to it and if you have a more keen sense of smell you may notice some floral notes. I didn’t really notice anything about the smell that turned me off in any way its also nothing spectacular that need to be recorded in history its just a regular shmegular smell you’d expect from any Origins product if you are familiar, and that my friends is the only ordinary thing about this product.
My very first time trying out this product I followed the instructions completely. I applied a generous amount to clean dry skin I relaxed for 10 minutes then I tissued off the mask. Which is probably my only issue I wasn’t very fond of tissuing off the mask just because it’s not really my preferred method of madness. I felt and still feel like my skin benefits more from the mask when I place a warm wet towel over my entire face let it sit for about 10 seconds and then wipe it off with the towel. It just left my skin with a very lit from within radiant glow. Besides that it is a pretty simple mask it is extremely lush and leaves your skin feeling pretty exquisite. There is no long sit time. 10 minutes for me is perfect I hate having mask on my face for too long IDK I just start to feel like I am suffocating after so long, but thats just me.
Anywho I definitely recommend trying this mask for those curious this is not a sponsored post I am not getting paid to tell you to try the mask this is just my honest opinion. I believe skinning is winning the rest is up to you my friends.
Now excuse me while I kiss the sky.
